Spinmaster Aqua Dot Contain GHB "Date Rape" drug , Recall all of them as none are safe

The truth behind Aqua Dots.

Aqua-dots has been around for a couple years now and in many different countries. These is no doubt that this toy would rise to the top of the list. Here this picture shows the aquadot station with neet storage for the dots at the top of the bin. The child can change colors by rotating the cylinder at the top. A battery powered fan blows the beads on at a time in the grate that holds the beads in place.

Here is an unopened packet of Aqua Dots and the aquadot spray ( water).

Seen here is how the beads are placed in the form before water is sprayed.
Spray water and the beads dry making a neeto plastic keychain or somthing. The problem is the glue on the beads turns to GHB when it is digested. What!! these things are FOOD ?! No they aren't , but somone has been feeding them to their kids! GHB is a body performance supplement and in larger doses it will affect the breathing of a patient. In many countries its used as a field anestetic.
Anyways the point is eating a couple of these beads could leave a child in the hospital in a drug induced coma for 1-2 days. Even though they are fun I wouldnt eat them anytime soon. As far as being a date rape drug, though many things are used for that that was not the common use, its was used with steroids for body building!

Study by MIT student-

For all you junior scientists at home, we have provided a few easy-to-follow steps. That way you too can perform the experiment to find the effects of Aqua Dots on adults and learn the type of lesson that only a panicked call to 911 can teach you. For this experiment, you will need a supply of Aqua Dots, which you can likely now find at your local rave club, and a willing adult, likely a senior citizen at the end of their rope.
The Steps:

1. Have test subject ingest a single Aqua Dot.

2. Wait 10 seconds and record observations.

3. Repeat.
In our experiment, the subject (an intern whose name we forgot, but codenamed Aqua Death) seemed to be doing well after the first dot, but two minutes and twelve Aqua Dots later the intern had stopped moving. Our conclusion? Aqua Dots are indeed potent in adults.

When swallowed, these beads can cause adverse effects, even death. Children have already been hospitalized and suffered coma. Spin Master recalled the products voluntarily on November 7, 2007. These beads have a coating that is made to cause the beads to stick to each other when combined with water. This coating contains a chemical that can be toxic if ingested. This chemical somehow converts to GHB, most widely known as the date rape drug, when ingested into the human body. Due to these beads, 5 children have been hospitalized. 2 are known to have experienced coma. The 20 month old child swallowed dozens of these beads. He experienced dizziness, began vomiting, and then slipped into a coma. After hospitalization, he fully recovered and has since been released. The second child also experienced the same symptoms (dizziness, vomiting, then coma). He was hospitalized for 5 days. These Aqua Dots and Bindeez come in various kits which allow the children to create certain shapes and figures. Some kits come with other accessories, such as a drying fan or pen. These pea-sized beads fuse together when sprayed with water. The kits were sold at retailers nationwide from April 2007 to November 2007, with the price range of $17 to $30. All Aqua Dots and Bindeez kits have been recalled. None of them are safe.

If you have any of these kits, immediately remove them from possession of children and contact Spin Master for further details at (800) 622-8339 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit their recall website at http://www.aquadotsrecall.com/.
